According to Guardian, the British Police now arrests innocent people to get their DNA samples. The database now contains almost 5 million records, mostly black males, aged 18 to 35. The practice wouldn’t be anything unusual if it only included records of people who had committed crime. The problem is, that almost 1 million people whose records are present in the system are innocent. And that number has grown by over 100 000 just in the last one year…

The parliament has never even debated the establishment of the DNA database, so with no good law, the peoples’ privacy is being violated…
